Learn how mindfulness could help you find relaxation, kindness and spaciousness in your day to day life. Discover tools to:

This session will be based on the work of Vidyamala Burch, an internationally respected leader in the field of Mindfulness Based Pain Management. Vidyamala’s book, ‘Mindfulness for Health’ was awarded first prize in the 2014 British Medical Association Book Awards.
Who is this suitable for: People with whiplash, back pain, arthritis, diabetes, chronic fatigue, cancer and many other conditions have benefitted from Breathworks’ approach to mindfulness. Those with a general interest in mindfulness are also very welcome. We also have Mindfulness for Stress taster sessions.
What can I expect: We will look at what mindfulness is and discuss a few common misconceptions. There will be opportunities to experience some of our meditation practices such as a body awareness and breathing exercises.
By the end of the session: you will have something to take away and use in daily life, we can look at next steps including the courses we offer, and books and CDs that can help you further.
The session will be led by Mariangela Towner one of our accredited Breathworks teachers.
